I’ve made a lot of lemonade variations over the years, but this strawberry kiwi lemonade recipe is one of those simple ones that really does not need a bunch of extra fuss. I wanted the strawberry and kiwi to actually taste fresh, so instead of using a syrup or flavored mix, I juiced the fruit and used that fresh juice as part of the lemonade base.
The whole recipe makes one gallon, and the method is easy: fresh strawberry-kiwi juice, fresh lemon juice, sugar, then enough spring water to bring everything up to the one-gallon mark.

Fresh Strawberry Kiwi Lemonade Recipe
Makes: 1 gallon
- 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1 cup freshly juiced strawberry-kiwi juice
- 3 cups sugar
- Spring water, enough to make 1 gallon
How I Make It
- Juice enough strawberries and kiwi to make 1 cup of fresh strawberry-kiwi juice.
- Squeeze enough fresh lemons to make 1 cup of lemon juice.
- Add 3 cups of sugar to a 1-gallon pitcher.
- Pour in the lemon juice and strawberry-kiwi juice.
- Stir everything together so the sugar starts dissolving.
- Add spring water until the pitcher reaches the 1-gallon mark.
- Stir really well, chill, and serve cold.
A Few Things That Make This Easier
Add the sugar and juices before the water. This is the biggest little tip from making a gallon batch. If you fill the pitcher with water first, you can run out of room once the fruit juice and sugar go in. I build the lemonade base first, then top it off with water.
A spoon makes peeling kiwi ridiculously easy. Cut the ends off, slide a spoon between the flesh and the skin, and work it around the kiwi. The fruit usually pops right out with very little waste.
You can adjust the tartness and sweetness. The measurements above are exactly how I made this batch. If you know you prefer a sharper lemonade, you can always tweak the sweetness the next time you make it.
What I Used
I used my Kuvings Auto10 Plus Juicer for the strawberries and kiwi. You do not have to use that exact machine, but juicing the fruit gives the lemonade a smooth fresh-fruit flavor without turning the drink into a thick blended smoothie.

Why I Like This Method
I like making fruit lemonade this way because the basic formula is easy to remember and easy to change. The lemon keeps it tasting like lemonade, while that second cup of juice is where you can play with the flavor. Strawberry and kiwi work really well together because the strawberry brings sweetness and color while the kiwi adds a little extra tart, tropical flavor.
This is definitely one I’d make again for a cookout, a family get-together, or just because I wanted something better than plain lemonade sitting in the refrigerator.
