ABOUT THE FAIRY GARDENING HOE
Hi, I’m Allyse.
I’m almost always in the middle of something.
Sometimes I’m in the garden figuring out what a plant needs. Sometimes I’m in the kitchen trying a recipe I’ve been thinking about for three days. Other times I’m making wine, starting a ferment, learning about herbs, pulling my sewing machine back out, or going completely down a rabbit hole over whatever has my attention that week.
That’s really what The Fairy Gardening Hoe is about.

I started sharing because I genuinely enjoy documenting the things I’m doing and learning along the way. I’m not interested in pretending everything works perfectly the first time. If something turns out amazing, I’ll tell you. If I mess it up, change my mind, or discover a better way to do it later, you’ll probably hear about that too.
A lot of what I share falls somewhere between gardening, food, fermentation and wine, herbs and plant medicine, and sewing and crafts — with plenty of room for whatever I’m into lately.
Most of these projects end up in a video somewhere, but this site gives me space to actually go into the details: the ingredients, measurements, process, photos, research, updates, and all the little things that don’t always fit into a short video.
So if you like growing things, making things, eating good food, experimenting, learning as you go, or just following somebody else’s latest rabbit hole, you’ll probably find something here for you.
